Audience: K-5 ELA Teachers Instructional Coaches Leadership Personnel Registration: Please click here to register (Please reference Course# PL1314 -Registration Deadline is August 15th) About the Speaker Sue Ellen Patterson is an experienced, engaging provider of research-based professional learning. She provides training to assist school systems in implementing best practices related to curriculum, assessment, and instruction and is currently conducting CCGPS trainings across the state. We hope you will join us as Sue Ellen Patterson helps us prepare for the rigor of the CCGPS by offering two days of learning that will focus on the following: She has 25 years of experience in education as an elementary and middle school teacher, as an elementary building administrator, and as an ELA regional consultant for Georgia’s system of Regional Educational Service Agency. She is a certified trainer for Thinking Maps, Using Data to Lead Change (SREB), COMP -Vanderbilt University, and Learning Focused (part-time consultant). She has spent her professional career pursuing her love of education through on-going research and study of effective teachers and teaching principles, including Understanding by Design, Rigorous Curriculum Design and The Leadership and Learn Center conferences.
