Civil Rights Museum. Kira Krakovesky and Tyler Plaksa Period 10. The Jim Crow Stories. It interests me to find out if there are more stories similar to Jim Crows. It makes me angry that groups such as the Ku Klux Klan exsist . I would like to learn more about the Ku Klux Klan.

  2. The Jim Crow Stories • It interests me to find out if there are more stories similar to Jim Crows. • It makes me angry that groups such as the Ku Klux Klan exsist. • I would like to learn more about the Ku Klux Klan.

  3. Pictures of the Ku Klux Klan A picture of the Ku Klux Klan. This will give people a better idea of how they looked.

  4. Wilhelmina Baldwin’s Personal narratives This is an example of some words that Baldwin used in his personal narratives.

  5. The National Urban League This picture of The National Urban League gives you an idea of how people looked and how they fought for their rights.

  6. Populists Party This is a picture of the Populists Party. In the South the Populists challenged the White Supremacy by forming coalitions between black and white farmers who shared common cause.

  7. Brotherhood of Sleeping Car Porters The brotherhood of sleeping car porters were workers who worked long hours for little pay.

  8. Brown v. Board of Education • It interests me to learn about the Brown v. Board of Education. • It makes me angry that people would actually make someone walk farther because of their skin color. • I would like to learn more about the Brown v. Board of Education case.

What We Learned • I learned that the Jim Crown era was all about segregation in the South. • Many people spoke at Rosa Park’s funeral. • Martin Luther King Jr. died on April 7th, 1968 • Martin Luther King Jr. had a wife named Coretta, and 4 children. • The National Urban League helped migrants. • Rosa Parks died on October 24th, 2005 • Martin Luther King died on April 4th, 1968. • OrvalFarbus ordered the National Guard to keep students away instead of helping them.
