  2. Message to participants • Design projects very good ! • Followed closely a design cycle • Should be tested !!! complete cycle • Scientific methods should be followed rigoroursly! • Special attention to test and results • No huge difference between junior and senior projects – development ?

Recommendations to Teachers and mentors • Think of yourself as investigator • Do science together • Get excited together • Don't stand back • Model good scientific questions • Take/ ask for time to look after students • Make resources available/ gear and material to be used • Generate critical questions

  4. Recommendations to students • Take enough time for projects • Take initiative • Ask questions • Get support and equipment from school / professionals/ authorities /try to link with community • Follow the recommended format for projects

  5. Recommendations to organisers • Start organisation early! • Allow time for completion. Set clear deadlines and follow. • Publish pre-selection criteria in advance / Pre-select and reject with feedback • Publish the judging criteria in advance • Presentation of project to be added as criterion in the communication part
