VACANCY DEPUTY AREA RECREATIONAL OFFICER The Area Officer is looking to appoint a new Deputy Area Recreational Officer Deputy Area Recreational Officer (DARO) The DARO is appointed to assist and support the Area Recreational Officer in their duties. This exciting role would suit a person of Officer Rank who wishes to raise their involvement in the Corps to the next level You will have a wide range of experience and knowledge of the Corps together with good organisational ability, excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing and have a good knowledge of Westminster. The successful applicant will need (in conjunction with ARO) to: Make site visits of venues/possible venues, IN SUPPORT OF Area events. Provide support and advice to units and districts on competition and event management. Remain up to date with area and national competition policy and ensure that it is promulgated and understood within the Area. Administer event management on Westminster Represent the Area at national functions in absence of ARO If you believe you have that level of skill and experience for either of the roles above then we want to hear from you.
