2. Flowering Plants • Flowering plants produce seeds that helps them to make new plants. • Flowering plants have colorful petals to help attract insects to the plant.

Non- Flowering Plants • Non flowering plants are usually simpler than flowering plants. • But because they do not have flowers, they have to reproduce in other ways. • Non flowering plants grow from spores and not seeds.  • Non-flowering plants are some of the oldest plants on earth. 4. Fruit Bearing Trees • Some example of fruit bearing trees are orange trees, apple trees, lemon tree, and grapefruit trees. • These trees produce an edible fruit in which we find the seed of the plant.

5. Trees that Produce Cones • Pine cones produce seeds inside the cone that help the plant to reproduce. • Pine cones do not make their own food or have leaf parts, so they do not need to collect water or carbon dioxide.
