Agreement State Plan • Asked Minnesota for a plan: • Bring back staff members • Get outside assistance • Evaluate workload Innovative plan developed by the State
NRC Recourse if… • If Minnesota was not able to effectively operate the Agreement State program: • SA-112 “Emergency Suspension of a Section 274b Agreement” • Order drafted by General Counsel
Good Outcome • A “special” Periodic Meeting was not necessary • After 20 days, the shutdown was lifted • No significant “tests” of program
