MEDIP is a software system developed for multi-modal medical image processing. It aims to provide an informatical background for theoretical and applied studies, with the potential for marketable products. The system was developed in collaboration with various institutions and includes features such as platform-independent development environment, visualization libraries, finite element modeling for virtual surgery, image fusion, and 3D/4D visualization.
