  2. Step One: Signing Up and Getting Started • Visit iBuildapp.com and sign up for a free account • After signing in, choose one of three options: Native Apps (iPhone/Android), Native iPad, and Web Apps • *See notes for more details*

  3. Step Two: Choosing a Template and App Name • Select a template and name that seems appropriate for your app • Some templates are free, others can be used for a small fee

  4. Step Three: Adding a Background • Choose a background color or image for your app • Select a pre-designed image or upload one of your own • Uploaded images must be 640 X 960 pixels

  5. Step Four: Adding a Logo Image • Choose a logo image for your app • Logo images must be 640 x 154 pixels • Files must be under 1 MB in size

  6. Step Five: Editing Buttons and Tabs • Add a label and background image to each button • Button images must be 450 x 118 pixels • Choose a label and symbol for each tab

  7. Step Six: Editing Button and Tab Functionality • Select a page title and type for each button/tab • Page types allow you to assign each button or tab a different function • A background and text color can also be chosen for each button/tab

  8. Step Seven: Establishing App Settings • Select the 12 hour time format • Enter the following information for your app: name, description, key words, web site • An app category and logo (1024 X 1024 pixels) should also be selected

  9. Step Eight: Publishing and Promoting Your App • Collect and use the following information to promote your app: App Store URL, App URL, QR Code • E-mail, Facebook, and Twitter can also be used to promote your app • After reviewing your work, press “Publish Your App”
