The Brixton Prison Well-Being & Recovery Strategy (BPWR) aims to improve the recovery and well-being of individuals upon their release from prison, particularly focusing on African and African Caribbean men. By fostering dialogue between statutory services and BME communities, we strive to ensure culturally specific services that address their unique needs. We are validating and implementing new initiatives for better service improvement and collaborative working between Mental Health Services and Criminal Justice Systems, making the DRE agenda a reality in Lambeth.
