  2. Temperature • The desert is hot and dry because of lack of rainfall. • At night the desert turns cold due to cloud cover.

  3. Climate The hot deserts are humid Dry and are hot year round. the cold deserts Are cool to cold But, they are Also dry and they Are cold year round.

  4. Rainfall It rains 25cm (10 in) per year, and If it does rain it evaporates before It reaches the ground.

  5. plants • desert plants can survive because they can store water in them. • Some of these are the, cactus, tumbleweeds, and the Joshua Tree.

  6. insects • ants, beetles , scorpions, and spiders all live in the desert. • most of these are very poisonous such as, the scorpion.

  7. Animals • There are many animals in the desert, but there arethreemain ones, they are, the marmots, prairie dogs, and the last one is the lizard.

  8. Landforms • South and central America are, course tortured , shallow rocky or gravely. • canopies are very rare. They are mostly ground hugging shrubs or woody trees.

  9. Conclusion In conclusion, the desert is a Fascinating place with many interesting Animals, insects, with a hot and cold Climate. The landforms are amazing too.
