  2. Extra Credit Opportunity You may only do this if you have turned in ALL of your assignments. If you have missing stuff, you have to turn it in first. If you turn in this project while still missing work, it won’t be read. Choose one of the following questions to research (or get another question Ok’d). Research the topic and discover the answer Write a 2-3 paragraph essay that explains the answer to the question you are choosing. Turn it in no later than Tuesday (January 22nd) @ 3pm. Emailed essays will be accepted until that time. Question Options: How are the day/night cycles different on different planets? Why is it that during winter, it’s sunny but not warm? Why can we see the moon sometimes during the day? How do the tides affect marine life? How do astronomers go about predicting eclipses?
