  11. Common File loading issues • Open spreadsheet and error on the file upload. - (Fix close spreadsheet before loading) • Blank rows in spreadsheet – (Convert to CSV and use note pad) • Extension Important – text file must end in .txt, comma separated - .csv 11

  12. Common issues • Unable to find a record with error in edit screen – Use the go to standard view button or reports. • Make sure to set the primary school flag 12

  13. New items April 26th • Snapshot was not pulling students enrolled on Count Date – Fixed • Exception processing need to include warning sp180 - Student does not follow logical sequence for ELL. Last year they were marked as being in an ELL program and this year they are marked as Not Applicable. 13

  14. New items April 26th • Problem on Student October Snapshot records report – not all schools are choices • Work around – do not select any schools and press finish • File extract download for Student October matches the documentation now. Columns were in wrong format. 14

  15. New items April 26th • File extract download for Student October matches the documentation now. Columns were in wrong format. • Expelled students will need entry date for when the start receiving services and exit date for when those services end or the student comes back to school 15

  16. Rules not working correctly • Problem with rule sp373 and the primary school flag. • Student may only contain one primary school in a district. • Changed to a warning 16

  17. Rules not working correctly • Rule OC14 is firing and shouldn’t be – Changed this to a warning. • At least one school within your district has been approved to provide online education services as a single district online program, but none of the students in your district have been reported funding code 91 (Full Time On-line - Single District On-line Program) or 94 (Part Time On-line - Single District On-line Program). 17

  18. Rules not working correctly • Rule OC68 - If language proficiency is 4 or 5, then prior's year language background needs to be eng. Or be the same as this years language background 18

  19. Rules not working correctly • Rule OC11 – Duplicate SASID reported incorrectly. • Rule OC1 – Not working correctly for students with third party contracts. This is not identifying public schools correctly. (4/23/12) 19

  20. PowerSchool users • With this we then realized the extract is truly not formatting properly.  Long story short I exported data on my own and it is working fine.  We will get with Pearson to resolve the issue with the built in extract. (This was done on MAC) • Free and reduced lunch codes • Leading zeros not coded correctly on school code 20

  21. Issues identified • Language background “ach” is missing from language table. - Fixed • Error message incorrect – rule SP66 - Fixed 21

  22. District Feedback 4/23 When I do Format Checker and click upload.....the file hangs.... If I click upload again it goes through. The same thing seems to happen when I do the Data File upload also. FYI....I am working on a MAC. Don't know if that matters.... 22

  23. District Feedback • Edit screen is not user friendly on large data sets. • Cognos emailing of reports is not working. – Please send issue to me. If seeing this. 23

  24. District Feedback • Cognos report and export to excel does not work. Just spins. • This is more than likely a browser configuration issue. Please email datapipeline.suport@cde.state.co.us and we will email configuration for broswer 24

  25. District Feedback • PL/SQL error taking snapshot. • Title I does not appear correct – Defect on preschoolers not getting marked for Schoolwide title I. This will be corrected by including the title I schools with preschool programs. 25

  26. How long will pilot run? • Until September. • We will not have daily webinars, but I will support districts who would like to pilot. Support at: datapipeline.support@cde.state.co.us 26
