  5. District Grading and Portal • New District Policy is 90% Summative • 10% Assignments • Grades on Portal by Wednesday following week • Late work – two days • Missing/Absent/Incomplete Marks • Fewer Graded papers – Summatives are focus • Retake Tests • New Report Card

  6. Wrangler Letter • Earn points towards Letters and Stars • 250 Points First Level • 500 First Star • 1000 Points Framed Certificate • Honor Roll/Principal’s List/Citizenship • Service/Participation in Band and/or Chorus • Sports/Valet • “Walkers” • Academic contests

  7. Classroom Rules Respect Yourself and other at all times. Obedience Follow all school and classroom rules; follow instructions given by any of the school staff.   8. A Few More Things… • Homework Outline: District Guidelines. One day of Math, Reading, Other, and Thursdays – Spelling. • Always need to be reading for AR. • Weekly Reading: 20-30 minutes each night; • Accelerated Reader • Tests in their zones/points • Must be in students STAR range or above.
