Gamma Phi Beta Lambda Chapter4529 17th Avenue NESeattle, WA 98105 Dear Lambda Alumnae, Those of us who love Lambda Chapter know that part of our success as a chapter has grown directly from our roots in the sorority. As our campaign ~ A Loyalty to Lambda ~ begins, we are proud to lead the effort for all of us to give something back to this legacy that has brought us so much joy, pride and amazing memories. The Lambda Fund has been established to support the continued update and maintenance that our 80 plus year chapter house requires. It has been over 25 years since the main floor has been updated. As you can imagine the wear and tear that the furnishings take with over 100 girls living in the house, we are long overdue. We are excited to share with our Lambda alumnae a plan to ensure that the chapter house is well looked after for many years to come. At our recent “Reunite Brunch”, we received a lot of interest from our Lambda alumnae on how they could support the chapter house. We decided that the best way to do this is to develop “The Lambda Fund”. The Lambda Fund was established to provide an avenue for support that our Lambda alumnae could participate in. All funds collected will go directly to the Lambda chapter. All funds collected through the Lambda Fund will be earmarked for the chapter house itself. The fund will be used to update the current furnishings, and other capital improvements necessary to keep our beautiful Chapter house in good standing. The Corporation Board will oversee the distribution of funds with an overall plan in mind to use these funds in the most useful manner. Few bonds approach the love and longevity of Lambda sisterhood. Neither time nor distance can ever diminish the loyalty that we all have for Lambda and we hope that we can count on your support as we launch this campaign to help Lambda Chapter.
