TableChecklist • 12 pt. and double, single or spaced one and a half spaces including title, heading and notes (try to keep table on one page) • Title, headings and notes labeled • Title is brief but explanatory • Consistency in all tables • All abbreviations and symbols explained • Table is intelligible without reference to the text • Notes organized according to the convention of general, specific, probability • Table or data from other sources cited properly (citation at end of note) • Table referred to in the text (if table is in Appendix)

Figure checklist • Is the figure necessary? • Is the figure simple, clear and free of extra detail? • Is the title descriptive of the content of the figure? • Are all elements of the figure clearly labeled? • Are all figures numbered consecutively with Arabic numerals? • Are all figures mentioned in text (if figure is in Appendix)?
