  3. Scapula Imaging Routine • AP • Lateral (Y) • Erect or Supine* • 40” SID

  4. AP Scapula • Position affected arm as a ___________ • Arm abducted __________ • Elbow flexed with hand supinated in front of head • Center to mid-scapula __________coracoid process • Breathing technique or suspend respiration

  5. Lateral Scapula ‘Y’Anterior Oblique • Have pt reach _____________across body and grab ___________ shoulder. • Or flex elbow and place affected arm ___________ • Rotate ___________anterior oblique with affected side ___________to IR until scapula is lateral • CR to mid scapula

  6. Lateral Scapula ‘Y’Posterior Oblique • Have pt reach ___________across body and grab opposite shoulder. • Rotate approx ________ until borders are _________ with affected shoulder furthest from IR. • CR to mid scapula

  7. Clavicle Imaging Routine • AP No Angle • AP With Angle • Erect or Supine • 40” SID
