  2. Your flag? This is our flag, which we call “Dannebrog”. The flag isn’t made by any special person. The story says that it fell down from the sky during a war.

  3. A symbol of your country On the pictures you see the Danish royal family, who is very famous in our country. We don’t have a president, like in America, but instead we have the queen, who represents our country. The queen of Denmark and her husband (Margrethe and Henrik.)   4. Where are you? In the circle you see Denmark In oval circle you see Copenhagen, our capital.

  5. How’s the climate? In the spring the weather is fresh and cool. The temperature is between 7 and 10 degree. In the summer it is warm but not as warm as in the country’s in the south. The temperature is between 18 and 30 degree. In the winter it is rainy and windy all the time. Sometimes there is some snow, but that isn't often. He temperature is between -5 and 5 degree. In the autumn the weather is almost like the in the spring, just a little warmer. The temperature is between 8 and 15 degree.

A recipe from your country Old fashioned apple cake Ingredients: ½ kg cooking apples 100 grams of sugar Vanilla 75 grams bread crumbs 50 grams sugar 50 grams butter 75 grams macaroons 2 decilitres whipping cream Wash and peel apples. Cut them into pjeces and put them in a saucepan. Add½ deciliter of water. Add vanilla.Bring to boil and leave to simmer for 10 minutes ot till the apples are quite soft.og behold låget på gryden.Put apples in a bowl and mash them. Add 100 grams of sugar and stir. LEave to cool in fridge. Put 75 grams of bread crumbs and 50 grams of sugar in another bowl and mix. Melt butter in a frying pan and add mixture. Be careful not to burn it – stir constantly. Leave to cool. Crush macaroons in a plastic bag. When cold put in crushed macaroons. Whip Cream in a bowl. Don’t whip it too long!Put the apple mixture in a glass bowl in layers with the bread crumb mixture. The final layer must beebread crumbs. Put the whipped cream on top. Serve chilled.
