Duties of Club Secretary / Treasurer The following is a brief summary of the principal duties of the Secretary / Treasurer. • To ensure club membership and attendance records are kept. • To ensure that the R.I. & District databases are regularly updated • To issue all agendas/notices of meetings of the club and council. • To be responsible for the proper recording and preserving of the minutes of the club and council meetings. • In liaison with the Club Treasurer ensure that RIBI and District Subscriptions are paid by the due dates which are: -
Duties of Club Secretary / Treasurer The following is a brief summary of the principal duties of the Secretary / Treasurer. • RIBI – subscriptions are payable half yearly as follows: - • Notification from RIBI Finance in June payment due no later than 10thAugust • Notification from RIBI Finance in December payment due no later than 10th February. • District – subscriptions are payable once yearly as follows: - • Notification from District Treasurer in June, payment due by no later than 10th August
Duties of Club Secretary / Treasurer The following is a brief summary of the principal duties of the Secretary / Treasurer. • To make all other reports, proposals and nominations from the club, as required, to the RIBI / District Secretary / Treasurer. • Upon retirement from office, to hand over to a successor or to the President, all information, files and any other retained club property. • To perform such other duties as usually pertain to the office of ClubSecretary.
