  1. An Effective Pure- Tone Audiometry Test

  2. Pure-tone audiometry is the most common test used to measure hearing sensitivity. This test aims to determine the threshold of hearing, i.e. the minimum volume the patient hears.

  3. The test is conducted in cooperation with the patient and allows for pre- determining the nature and depth of hearing loss. During this test, you must wear headphones through which pure tones at different frequencies are noticed.

  4. You might remember putting earphones on and raising your hand whenever you heard the "beep" in your school is pure-tone testing. This test helps find the quietest sound you can hear at different pitches or frequencies.
