  4. Assessment: • -Create hand • -Will hang up the hands on class bulletin board • -Discuss the benefits of knowing how to deal with a bully

Instructional strategies • After reading, I will ask for 4 volunteers to help me pass out coloring paper, scissors, markers, and crayons • Once everyone received materials, I will instruct them on how to craft their hand • When student is done with hand, I will inform them to place their hand under their desk • Students will pin their own hand on bulletin board when all students are done and I say so • Once all students are back at their seats we as a class will create a classroom contract titled “Never be a Bully” and students will make rules up of how not to be a bully • One by one I will call each student to sign the contract when done to make it official • I will hang up the contract on the bulletin board with the students hands

  10. Closure • I will end this lesson with a positive note by reminding them that being a good student/classmate/friend has a lot more • benefits than being a bully.
