  1. Repeater(REBO) • The first design comes from Vienna • Very simple and smart • No regulator on MAMBO( No MAMBO design yet.) • So many opt couplers(20). But Vienna said it is necessary for I2C protocol. • No monitor other than HV current • Configuration • 1 DOCK contains 6 REBO • 1 REBO connects 4 hybrids (16 APVs) • (We need 18 hybrids readout/DOCK) • Connector/Cable choice • NANONICS conn. on hybrid. • Connector on REBO (not on MAMBO)

  2. IHV monitor Conn. MAMBO/FADC Clk/Trg Conn. Hybrid Analog out APV control

  3. HV current monitor DCU25F developed for LHC Low speed ADC for monitroing I2C protocol same as APV25

  4. CLK/TRG CLK in Global Floated DELAY25 developed for LHC Match Clk phase and level I2C protocol same as APV25

  5. Analog output 22nF capacitor Global Floated

  6. Hybrid • Cooling problem(thermal connection TPG and AlN block) Change hole shape?

  7. FLEX • Put cover layer • To avoid shorts due to abnormal Au deposition. • Delivered • Thick Au (0.35um) succeeded • No shorts • The accuracy of cover layer cutting is poor.

  9. Assemble • We have all ladder components( bridge, rib..) • Assembling procedure • Assemble half ladder (DSSD, Hybrid, FLEX) • Wire bonding • Test (w/ APVDAQ? Need connector for nanonics flat cable) • Assemble full ladder (bridge, rib) • Where? • Princeton? • Hybrid production. APVDAQ. • Less man power? • Melbourne? • send Jig from KEK? • In Japan? • How to make bonding? RIKEN, HPK…

  10. Plan Princeton or/and Melbourne All ladder assemble work KEK Plan A Send all parts Melbourne/HPK/RIKEN KEK KEK Half ladder Assemble DSSD+FLEX+Hybrid Wire bonding Full ladder Assemble Test Plan B RIKEN bonding machine are in REPIC company (Chiba) We can use it until August 2007.
