  5. 2006-2007: A new Era for the Financial Perspectives of the EU • Bigger European market: 15-25-33 MS • New budget: Negociation 2005/6, Implementation 2007 • Achievement of WTO Round: +/- 2007

  6. Threats/Risks • EU Member States deeply fragmented • Lack of common political vision • Economic and Social divergences to increase • The Euro at major risk • No coherence between the reality of Enlargement and the need for deepening

  7. Opportunities • Bigger market = bigger business • More complexities  more fragmentation  Multiplication of opportunities • EU Lobbying = More potential influence • Any crisis is a resource

  8. Conditions • EU and national legislations favorable to entrepreneurship • For entrepreneurs, a need for : Anticipation, Innovation, Niche Markets, Networks • Lobbying  associates all the food chain from the stable to the table • Reinvention of a new generation of EU Associations
