  1. The measures taken to protect an organisation from any unforeseen threat, are always directed towards making the business entity resilient from all the possibilities where they can get exposed to any kind of threat whatsoever. But the saddest part is that none of the organisations are making enough progress towards making themselves a strong contender when it comes to tackling the threat that is inevitable. We can go on discussing this very topic at length, but it will not be fruitful because according to certain predictions, the world economy, and the global market, his already going to face the worst scenario in terms of witnessing the cyber-attacks, for which they are formulating resilient plans. If we get an overview of the entire situation and summarise it in a few lines, we can safely conclude that for the established conglomerates, the reason for their

  2. negligence towards coming up with stable cyber-security measures, is that they are focusing more on services like crisis management, and business continuity planning. The rise of crisis management services in London can be seen as the perfect example of this statement. But then, it is a hypothetical assumption based on the news that mentioned the fines that companies like Google and Twitter have been charged with. For the small and medium scale organisations in the global market, the reason for their negligence is the lack of experience and unfamiliarity with these situations. Let us take a look at the facts that prove the vulnerabilities to which all the companies, irrespective of their scale, are being exposed to. WHERE DO THE CORPORATE SPHERE STANDS? •As far as the suspicious logins are concerned, for the small-scale organisations, the number has risen up to 52,280 throughout the month of September in the year 2020. An article published by Glow stated. •Since the COVID-19 breakout, the FBI has reported an increase of about 300% in the frequency of cyber-attacks within the US economy. •A report published by FireEye, states that almost 53% of the cyber- attacks go unnoticed. •Another report that was published by the National Cyber Security Alliance, states that 25% of the small and medium scale organisations file for bankruptcy after getting exposed to a cyber threat. •If we trust the Article published by Verizon, we can say that have 28% of the cyber-attacks in the year 2020, were directed to small-scale organisations alone. •Another report published by Verizon itself stated that 86% of the cyberattacks were financially motivated.

  3. WHO IS TO BLAME FOR THIS? The bigger question right now, is, ‘Who is responsible for such a deteriorated state?’ And to answer this question, we need to understand the importance of these statistics. When we stress these facts, we should consider that it is not entirely the fault of the information security management services in the UK, OR the crisis management consultants around the globe. rather, it is such negligence that is being conducted by everyone collectively. Therefore, everyone should understand that they are together in the process of defending themselves from the cyber-attacks better being conducted thoroughly.
