  3. Sit and Remain Seated When the bus has reached a complete stop you get on the bus. When you have found your seat you put your feet on the floor and remain seated. YES! NO!

  4. Face forward After you are seated and the first expectation has been followed, you need to face forward. YES! NO!

  5. By facing forward, you will know when to get off the bus. • You will be able to better hear directions. • You can avoid getting into trouble.

  6. Keep aisles clear After the first two expectations have been followed you need to keep the aisles clear. That means you need to keep your feet and backpack out of the aisle. YES! NO!

  7. Discussion Questions What are reasons to sit, face forward, and keep aisles clear? What are examples of times you see students being unsafe? What are things you can do to ensure safety on the bus?
