Understanding Hinduism: Beliefs, Practices, and Philosophies

DESCRIPTION

Hinduism is an evolving religion rooted in Indian and Aryan traditions. While its practices vary regionally, the core beliefs include the concept of Brahman, the universal soul, and Atman, the individual soul that undergoes reincarnation. The principles of Karma and Dharma guide ethical conduct and roles in life, leading towards the ultimate goal of Moksha, or liberation from the cycle of rebirth. Sacred texts like the Vedas and Upanishads, along with the guidance of gurus, provide insights. Worship includes rituals, meditation, yoga, and pilgrimages to sacred sites such as the Ganges River.
