  2. Attention AP students: If you are currently taking an AP class, you must order and pay for your AP exam by Friday, November 1. Extra exam order forms are located in the main office. • Any exams ordered late will be assessed a $40 late fee by the College Board. Any exam ordered, but not taken and returned, will be assessed a $40 return fee. • Please return order forms to Mrs. Peek by November 1st with exam payment. AP EXAMS

  3. The athlete of the week is DemyaRolen. Demya is a senior cross country athlete. • Her best 5K time was at the annual AT &T Starr’s Mill Panther Cross Country meet. She ran 5000 meters in 22:42. Her best 3K time was at the Saucony Battle of Atlanta Race at Nash Farms. She ran 3000 meters in 13:49 which placed her 8th in the state at the time. • Congrats Demya! ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

  4. CONGRATULATIONS TO NIA ENDOW, TRISTYN HOLMES AND TRINITY BROOKS FOR BEING VOTED TO THE VOLLEYBALL ALL-REGION TEAM! • ALSO, A BIG CONGRATULATIONS TO VOLLEYBALL COACH CULVERSON FOR EARNING REGION COACH OF THE YEAR HONORS! • GO BULLDOGS! ALL-REGION HONORS

  5. YOUR ASSIGNED CHROMEBOOKS ARE TO BE BROUGHT TO SCHOOL WITH YOU EVERY DAY. IF YOUR CHROMEBOOK, CASE AND/OR ADAPTER IS LOST OR STOLEN, PLEASE REPORT THE ISSUE TO THE TECHNOLOGY OFFICE IN THE MEDIA CENTER. CHROMEBOOKS

  8. Don’t worry if you thought you missed your chance to win $200 in the One Night Only Talent Show. Come audition for Dr. Jolly this week in room 308 after school. The audition fee is $20. You can get the audition forms from Dr. Jolly. • Auditions are today, tomorrow and Friday. TALENT SHOW AUDITIONS

  9. The PROBE College Fair will be held at the Academy for Advanced Studies on Monday, November 4, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM. SCHOOL DAZE

  10. There will be a soccer interest meeting for players and parents on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at 6pm in the DHS Media Center. HAPPY FEET

TENNIS CONDITIONING WILL BEGIN IN THE MAIN GYM ON THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 7, FROM 3:45-5:00 PM FOR STUDENTS WHO ARE INTERESTED IN PLAYING TENNIS AND WHO ARE NOT PARTICIPATING IN FALL/WINTER SPORTS. • ALL PAPERWORK MUST BE TURNED IN AND CURRENT PHYSICALS MUST BE ON FILE BEFORE BEING ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE. THERE ARE ABSOLUTELY NO EXCEPTIONS. TENNIS CONDITIONING

  12. L.I.V.E. (Literary Intellectuals Vibing with Everyone) is a club for students to express their creativity through the art of the pen by writing and performing. • Meetings will be held in room 112 from 3:30pm to 4:15pm on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month. • Next meeting dates are November 7, and November 21. L.I.V.E.

  13. NHS is having a Pennies for Patients Fundraiser for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society until November 8. • The home room that turns in the greatest number of pennies will get a class pizza party. • You can also donate at https://events.lls.org/pages/ga/DutchtownHighSchool-2020. • Our fundraising goal for this year is $1,200. PENNIES FOR PATIENTS

  14. The junior and senior prom will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2020 at the Four Seasons Atlanta. • Prom tickets are now on sale. Ticket price is $120 each until October 31. Prices will increase thereafter. • Tickets can be bought online at myschoolbucks.com. They may also be purchased from Ms. Johnson in room 224 or Ms. Erica in the front office using cash, check or money order. JUNIOR & SENIOR PROM
