REGULATIONSFORTHEPREPARATION OFDOGSFOREXHIBITIONF(AnnexB) TheseRegulationsmustbeobservedwhenadogispreparedforexhibitionand/orexhibited atanyKennelClubLicensedevent.ObjectionsmaybereferredtotheGeneralCommittee fordisciplinaryactionundertheseShowRegulationsand/orfordisciplinaryactionunder KennelClubRuleA42. 1. a) b) AdogfoundtohavebeenexhibitedinbreachoftheseRegulationswillautomatically bedisqualifiedfromexhibitionattheshowandfromanyawardgainedthereat. Unlesstheexhibitorprovidesasatisfactoryexplanationforthedogbeingexhibitedin breachoftheseRegulationsthenhe/shemaybesubjecttofurtherpenaltiesofeither afineoraslistedunderRuleA42. 2. a)Nosubstancewhichaltersthenaturalcolour,textureorbodyofthecoatmaybepresent inthedog'scoatforanypurposeatanytimeduringtheShow.Nosubstancewhich altersthenaturalcolourofanyexternalpartofthedogmaybepresentonthedogfor anypurposeatanytimeduringtheShow. b) Anyothersubstance(otherthanwater)whichmaybeusedinthepreparationofadog forexhibitionmustnotbeallowedtoremaininthecoatoronanyotherpartofthedog atthetimeofexhibition. 3. 4. 5. 6. Noactoroperationwhichaltersthenaturalconformationofadogoranypartthereofmay beperformedexcept: (a)OperationscertifiedtothesatisfactionoftheGeneralCommittee. (b)Theremovalofdewclawsofanybreed. (c)OperationstopreventbreedingprovidedthatsuchoperationsarenotifiedtotheKennel Clubbeforeneutereddogsareshown. NormustanythingbedonecalculatedintheopinionoftheGeneralCommitteetodeceive. TheGeneralCommitteewithoutpreviousnoticemayorderanexaminationofanydogor dogsatanyShow.Anyexaminationthusorderedwillbemadebyapersonhavingexecutive authoritywhoshallhaveawrittendirectivefromtheKennelClubintheirpossession.Samples maybetakenforfurtherexaminationandanalysis. Anindividualhastherighttolodgeanobjectiontoadogonlyifhe/sheistheownerorhandler ofadogcompetinginthesamebreedorclass.Anobjectionmay,however,belodgedbyan officialoftheShoworbyanyonesodeputedbytheKennelClub.Itwillbetheresponsibility oftheindividualwholodgestheobjectionortheofficial(asappropriate)tosubstantiatethe groundsfortheobjection.TheKennelClubwillsubstantiatethegroundsforanobjection madeonitsbehalf. AnyobjectionbyanindividualrelatedtoaninfringementoftheseRegulationsmustbe madeinwritingtotheShowSecretaryathis/herofficebeforethecloseoftheShowandthe individualmustproduceevidenceofidentityatthetimeoflodgingthecomplaint. YourdogisvulnerableandATRISKifleftinavehicleinhightemperatures andevenondaysconsideredasslightlywarm.Pleasetakecareofyour dog.Ifyourdogisfoundtobeatriskforcibleentrytoyourvehiclemaybe necessarywithoutliabilityforanydamagecaused.
