6. Section 3. Objectives This course aims to provide students to explore engineering and urban planning and understand the themes of this science and profession . However, it aims also to help the freshman students of the Faculty of Applied Engineering and Urban Planning to understand the following : Engineering and planning concepts, The profession’s ethics . History of Engineering and Urban Planning, How to be a good engineer/planner, How to study Engineering and Urban Planning, General knowledge about global engineering and planning landmarks and development. 10. Section 7. : The Paper Each group of students ( Two students ) have to prepare and present a paper describing an engineering or urban planning project . The description have to include the following : The project’s name, location, description Main engineering works included in the project Stages of the project : design and implementation Project’s budget Project’s management The due dates for the paper progress : Week 2 : Project choice and approval .
