News…in case you missed the ebulletin • We have new emails – are you getting them? • Caps for mandatory/specialist training are £1000 for Sept- Dec • Open Qualifications and Training Courses are NOT part of your cap – make the most of these! • Train the trainer – build internal capacity • PTLLS still available through our partners • Make use of all the Leadership Courses – these are fully funded (please choose the right people to attend)

More news… • Qualification funding is available and is at a higher level than last year – remember NMDS • NMDS – we can now offer you help • Cadets – looking for placements in Hemel area • Activity organisers – attend Action Learning Days • Activity budgets – do you have one? • Motivation classes – mental and physical stimulation, giving Activity Organisers a helping hand. Demo classes are FREE – make use of this while it is available.

  7. Falls • NHS are funding falls for Managers in Hertfordshire • We still have places on courses for Care Homes • We have just been funded for new places for Homecare. • Please sign up

End of Life Event on 25th Sept • Even if you have already participated in the ABC East of England End of Life Programme you should attend this event as it will give you further information about future planning for EOL within your service. • If you have not heard about the ABC East of England End of Life Programme and would like information about how your staff can access this FREE training, you should attend this event

  10. Enjoy your day! • Our first presentation today is on Community Engagement • To get us in the mood please welcome Camille Maalawy. Camille will lead a short participatory exercise/song, and will tell us all about her work with the EMA singers community choir in Waltham Cross as part of the Herts  5 Gold Rings project Hertfordshire Music Service ran in partnership with 5 housing associations and the Purcell School.
