MorganGross Wants to be your NFTY PAR RCVP ’09-’10 My time on SHAFTY board has given me a foundation in leadership dynamics on a TYG level and has exposed me to the challenges that TYG RCs face, giving me the perspective I need to be able to help them. SHAFTY 9th Grade Liaison ‘06-‘07 SHAFTY SAVP ‘07-‘08 SHAFTY Israel Liaison ‘08-’09 NFTY PAR general board has allowed me to lead PAR on a smaller scale, preparing me for regional board through chanting Torah and group leading at various PAR events. Being on Torah Corps has also given me the unique opportunity to write and lead creative services for all of PAR. NFTY PAR Programming Committee ‘07-’08 NFTY PAR Social Action Committee ‘07-’08 NFTY PAR PEPSY Committee ’08-’09 NFTY PAR Group Leading Committee ’08-’09 NFTY PAR Torah Corps Committee ’08-’09 The Kutz Campus for Reform Jewish Teen Life has helped to connect me to NFTY on the North American Level. My summers there have taught me to write programs, lead services, and network with other NFTY leaders Kutz Campus Social Action Major Summer ‘07 Kutz Campus Programming Elective Summer ‘07 Kutz Campus Judaic Studies Major Summer ‘08 Kutz Campus Judaic T’fillahCommitee Summer ‘08 The NFTY EIE High School in Israel program fostered a real connection to Israel and the Jewish people for me and inspired me to run for RCVP. In addition to inspiration, EIE provided me with an incredibly comprehensive education on Jewish history , qualifying me to be your RCVP. I have both qualification as you can see above, and vision which I hope to prove to you throughout this year. As your NFTY PAR RCVP I would like to: • Establish the NFTY PAR service bank as a resource for TYG RCVP’s • Write creative and challenging services and Torah Studies for events • Strengthen the PAR RCVP network • Help PARites to utilize the resources around them to develop and crystallize their individual Jewish Identities
