  4. When do you need an adult to help? • When somebody is hurt or could become hurt. • When something is unsafe. • Bullying situations • Purposeful • Repeated RES Guidance

Problem Solving Strategies: 3 BEFORE ME! • Ask the person to STOP • Give an “I Statement” • Walk Away • Talk it Out • Play another game • Ignore • Cool Off • Count to 10 • Take deep breaths • Take Turns • Compromise • Apologize Choose any 6 of the strategies above to create your Wheel of Choices RES Guidance

  7. Practice Time: Try 3 Before Me! • All of your friends at recess want to play tag, but you want to play on the swings. You’re tired of always doing what they want to do, and you begin to get mad! • Using a pencil and a paperclip as a spinner, work with your partner/group to come up with 3 ways you could solve this problem.
