Engineering & Construction Management Department August Report 2012 El Paso Streetcar • General Project Description: Streetcar system linking the Golden Horseshoe/International Bridges area to the Kern Place shopping area. The route will be along Stanton Street and Oregon Street on the north side of Franklin Avenue with a stub-ended terminal at Coffin Street. Franklin Avenue, Kansas Street, Father Rahm Avenue, and Santa Fe Street comprise the downtown circulator route. PROJECT SCHEDULE Design Status: Consultant has submitted a draft CE to the Texas Department of Transportation for review. Proposed route alignment has been presented to City Council.
