  5. Between January 2010 and January 2016, 11.6 million jobs were created. 99% went to workers with at least some education beyond high school. Source: Georgetown University Center on Education and the Workforce analysis of Current Population Survey (CPS) data, 2007-2016. Note: Employment includes all workers age 18 and older. The monthly employment numbers are seasonally adjusted using the US Census Bureau X-12 procedure and smoothed using a four month moving average

  8. 2 1 Create high-impact Career Development Opportunities for local high school students. Connect them to these opportunities through an exclusive web platform called Greater Peoria Works. Assist in sequencing more intentional Career Pathways including Early College Credit opportunities at the high school level in collaboration with Illinois Central College and local school districts Increase the Career Readiness, high school completion, and college matriculation rates of local high school students. Increase local talent pool to meet regional workforce demands.
