Key Figures • Area: • Total port boundary: 170 km2 • Land area accommodates: commercial quays, liquid jetties and • 1550 ha for logistics (warehousing, storage and services) • Breakwaters: • Lee breakwater: 4.5 km • Main breakwater: 4.1 km • Water depths: to allow safe reception of vessels with capacity up to 150 000 DWT • Approach channel: -19m • Commercial berths Phase 1: -18m • Commercial Terminals Phase 1 (2.325km of berths, 80 ha. area): under construction • Multi-Purpose terminal : 0.8 Mt (425 m of berth) • Container terminals : 3.5 M TEU (1 600 m of berth) • Dry bulk terminal : 5.0 Mt (300 m of berth) • Liquid Jetties: design works start in 2013 • Commercial Terminals Phase 2 (10km of berths) to be defined later
