When the Paycheck Stops • Make budget reflecting new status and list priorities • Open bills, talk to creditors • Make offers to creditors for reasonable and sustainable arrangements • Keep detailed notes on all phone calls and arrangements- times, who you spoke to, etc • Use personal/professional network
2-1-1 flyer • Statewide resource, separate number for cell phones • Can call with any request: Where can I volunteer? Where can I find day care? • Staff keeps track of program eligibility and often knows if program is full or taking more clients
