  1. My title page for my magazine has been designed to look original and have its own way of appealing to the market. The main image does not cover the entire page as most magazines such as ‘Vibe’ and ‘NME’ do, however it makes it different and stand out from the rest as the image is layed out in a unique way. The page also has a section at the bottom which is used for any competitions or free give-aways the magazine might be promoting, this may also be used as a space for advertisement to bring in more money for the magazine.

My contents page has been layed out based on the contents page of NME magazine, I have used the idea of taking a snippet from each page to give the reader some idea of what they would be reading on that page. This would also advertise the page as it would show the reader what would be included in the magazine and who has been interviewed etc. While also helping the reader to find it.

  3. My double page spread was inspired by ‘Vibe’ magazine, I used the idea of having a large image of a popular singer to attract immediate attention from the reader and draw them towards the story on the next page. By adding a quote from the singer it adds authenticity to the image. The way I have added an image in the middle of two parts of text breaks it up and gives the reader a break from reading to look at the image, also the chunk of writing does not seem as intimidating broken than just one large block of writing.
