  1. 5 Themes Of Geography: Colorado Victoria Stehm 2nd hour

  2. Location These are examples because location is where things are on the map. I used latitude and longitude to determine where Colorado was, and the 4 corner states of Colorado. • Colorado’s longitude is 120 degrees west to 109 degrees west. • Latitude is 37 degrees north to 41 degrees north. • The borders for Colorado are Wyoming and Nebraska to the north, New Mexico and Oklahoma to the south, and Nebraska and Kansas about east. • The southwest corner of Colorado meets up with Utah, Arizona, and New Mexico. This is called the 4 corners.

  3. Place http://media-cdn.tripadvisor.com/media/photo-s/01/81/2f/6f/colorado-springs.jpg These are both Places because many people know Colorado for the bridge and the rivers. These are features of Colorado that make the state that it is today. • The major rivers of Colorado is the Colorado River, Rio Grande, Arkansas River, and the South Platte River. • They are home to the largest suspension bridge (Royal Gorge Bridge) near Canon City.

  4. Human Environment Interaction http://theskimonster.com/files/theskimonster/ckfinder/images/kenichi-aspen-colorado-7.jpg Human Environment Interaction helps people make relationships linking to the environment, like the Hoover Dam for example. This helps create power for people while they use resources at the same time. • By building their homes on the flat lands, it gives them a strong base and they didn’t have to adapt to any change of latitude. • Colorado also put in Hoover Dam, that was another way of making power for people, and using their resources.

  5. Movement http://www.clarkvision.com/galleries/images.colorado.snow/web/bear.creek.colorado.c12.29.2006.JZ3F6183.d-700.jpg Movement can be an act of immigration because that is people moving into a different country. And goods are imported through Colorado which is an example of movement. • $638 million worth of imports go into Colorado each year. • The population of immigration went up by 31 percent between 1990 and the year 2000.

  6. Region http://www.skinet.com/skiing/files/_images/201006/CMC_1.jpg These examples would have to do with region because many different regions have snowy environments and there is ski businesses in other places besides Colorado. • Any kind of ski resort area • Any type of region that has a cold, snowy environment
