  2. Let’s begin . . . First, learn the card trick. Pay close attention. You’ll need to do it many times in your group. Do you think it’s better to “switch” or “stay”? Or are your chances equal either way? Write a testable hypothesis about whether “switching” or “staying” gives you a better chance of winning. Or, your hypothesis could state that your chances are equal. How could we use EXCEL to help our analysis?

  3. Test your hypothesis In your group, test your hypothesis Record all of your measurements in some sort of chart Put your answers in the EXCEL document While you’re waiting for other groups to finish, discuss whether you think your own results supported your hypothesis

  4. Write a conclusion Download the EXCEL document with everybody’s results Analyze the results and write a conclusion about whether your hypothesis was supported In your conclusion, include some averages and standard deviations to support your claim Turn in one page per group. I’ll read it and grade it.
