  3. Why Tor Vergata joined ITU? Educational Importance of Standards Let students aware of the impact when standards are not used or defined in terms of security and quality of work Teaching how designing and developping software using standards

Security and privacy in eID management • eID management is a world wide issue • Definition of a minimun set of standards is fundamental for: • a secure, userfriendly and efficient use of eID at world wide level • Interoperability among different organizations and countries using eID !!!! BIG CHALLENGE !!!!
