  6. Visitors, to First Church! Following worship, please join us on the patio for refreshments!

  7. A Deacon’s Fund offering will be collected TODAY. Please use the envelope provided in your bulletin.

  8. Just a reminder — we continue to collect hygiene supplies and gently used or new sneakers and blue jeans for the Jubilee Center. The Center has an urgent need for non-perishable food items.

  9. The church and Learning Centers offices will be closed Monday, September 2nd, for the Labor Day holiday.

  10. Friday, September 6th, 9:00 – Noon

  11. Share-A-Meal will meet in the church kitchen on September 7th 11:00 a.m. to prepare lunch for the homeless in our area.

  21. Merciful God, allow us to drink from the stream which flows from your fountain of life. May we taste the sweet beauty of its waters, which spring from the very depths of your truth….

  22. Give us, Lord Jesus, this water, that it may quench the burning spiritual thirst within our souls and purify us from all sin. We know, King of glory, that we are asking from you a great gift.

  23. But you give to your faithful people without counting the cost, and you promise even greater things in the future. Indeed, nothing is greater than yourself, and you have given yourself to us on the cross.
