  2. Commensalism is when one organism (symbiont) benefits off another organism (host), but in the process host does not get harmed nor gain anything. Even though it’s selfish, it’s commensalism. Anna CriswellCommensalism

  3. Commensalism Relationships • One relationship is when a spider hitches a ride under the beetles wing. The spider (symbiont) benefits, but the beetle (host) does not benefit nor gain anything. • Another relationship is when a sloth camouflages itself in algae. The sloth (symbiont) benefits ,but the algae (host) does not. • One last example of commensalism relationships is when a remora fish(symbiont) uses its suction fin to feed itself off sharks (host) particles.

  4. Melody WeaverMutualism Mutualism is when both organisms benefit. The host and the symbiont both get equal wages.

  5. Mutualism relationshipsby melody • One example of a mutualism relationship is Dairy ants and aphids. The dairy ants protect the aphids from predators. In return the aphids provide the ants with honey dew. • Another example is: Oxpecker and buffalo. The oxpeckers eat bugs off of the buffalo. Also the buffalo gives the oxpeckers a free ride. • Here is one more example: Termites and protozoa. Without protozoa the termite would be unable to digest the cellulose and other large molecules in wood. The protozoa gets in return are provided with food, shelter, etc.

  6. Daja BranchParasitism • Parasitism is when a symbiotic relationship in which one organism lives in or another organism (the host) and consequently harms the host while it benefits. parasitism is a symbiotic relationship in which one organism lives in or on another thing.

  7. Parasitism Relationship One example of parasitism is parasites and humans. The parasites are the symbiont and the humans are the host. The parasites suck the blood of the host and leave a wound. Another example is a botfly and domestic rabbits. The botfly burrows into the rabbit and drinks the blood after drinking the blood the female lays the eggs on the sour.
