SCHOOL-BASED ASSESSMENT • Weighting: 15% • Preparation time: 15 minutes (allowed to make notes) • Examination time: 2-3 minutes per candidate • Format: Group interaction / Individual presentation • Types of text: print fiction / print non-fiction / non-print fiction / non-print non-fiction • Marks to be submitted to the EMB: At least 2 (1 in Form 4 and 1 in Form 5)

  3. SCHOOL-BASED ASSESSMENT • 3 Assessments in school: • F.4 First Term: Film Review • F.4 Second Term: Book Report • F.5: Film Review / Book Report

  4. SCHOOL-BASED ASSESSMENT • Requirements / Flow: • Reading / viewing programme (film/book) • Write up comments and personal reflections • Take part in a group discussion / respond to teacher questions

  5. SCHOOL-BASED ASSESSMENT • Assessment: -- Assessment will be based on the student oral performance. -- The reading / viewing / writing will not be assessed.
