  4. Lesson B • Possessive Adjectives A possessive adjective is used to say that a person or thing belongs to another person or thing. These adjectives are always put in front of nouns. Example : my car his house our team Dang’s watchyour ring her bag • their racquets Decha’s necktie

  5. Lesson B • Possessive Pronouns We use a possessive pronoun when we want to refer to a person or thing. We must not put nouns after these pronouns, and these possessive pronouns can be used after the verb to be. Notice the use of possessive pronouns compared with possessive adjectives: Possessive Adjectives Possessive Pronouns • This is my book. 1. This book is mine. • That is your car. 2. That car is yours. • This is his necktie. 3. This necktie is his. • That is her doll. 4. That doll is hers.
