  1. Itasha Cars Originally a car design fad in Japan, itasha cars have gained popularity worldwide. These cars are generally modified to reflect the personality of the owner. These vehicles are usually decorated with anime stickers, decals, or liveries. Itasha cars are available in the US, UK, and other countries. These vehicles are used in some motorsport events. Itasha cars are generally modified by a passionate otaku who is obsessed with a manga character, or comic book character. The owner buys a regular car from a dealer and decorates it with anime stickers or liveries. They are also known to add extreme modifications. This is a form of self-expression that reflects the owner's personality and interests. Itasha cars are a Japanese car styling trend that began in the 1980s. These vehicles feature anime and manga decals, stickers, and liveries. This style of decal is said to have influenced other vehicle-decoration fads in the world. The itasha decal style first gained popularity when the internet became a widely used medium for sharing information. In addition, the advent of colour printing technology allowed for more detailed designs. The popularity of itasha cars has continued to grow in recent years. These vehicles are generally used by racing teams. Some teams are sponsored by companies that own the character rights. Other racing teams use cars that have been officially licensed. There are also some cars that are owned by individual otakus. In addition to racing, the itasha car style has been incorporated into motorsport events in Japan and other countries. In 2009, Melonbooks became the first team to win an overall Itasha championship. They won three races in a row and earned the class title of Dirt Trial SA2. They switched to the Lancer Evolution VII in 2009, and then to the Honda Integra in 2010. There are two main types of itasha cars. First, itasha cars are vehicles that are fully painted with anime stickers. The second type are vehicles that have a large decal of an anime character on them. Some of these cars are extremely expensive. Itasha cars are popular in Japan, but not much is known about them outside the country. This is because most people who own itasha cars are otakus, or anime fans. These cars are also called kei trucks. These cars are super-small vehicles that are usually rear-wheel drive. They can be found in Japan and Eastern Asia. Itasha cars have also been found in Brazil. Itasha cars have been used in various motorsport events, including the TT-Zero, Super Taikyu, and Super GT series. These events receive media coverage. These events are amateur, but itasha cars are also used by professional racing teams. These teams use a variety of liveries to show their dedication to their characters. Most itasha racers use Honda Civics, but others use vehicles from other manufacturers.

  2. These itasha racers need to change their liveries regularly to avoid police recognition. Itasha racers also have illegal street races on the Kanjo loop.
