  3. 1.b. Make Inferences Why might many Mongolians be proud of their country’s history? 1.b. 700 years ago Mongolia was a great world power and their empire stretched from the Danube River in Austria to the Pacific Ocean.
  4. 1.c. Elaborates Why does Mongolia’s culture praise horses? 1.c. Horses are an important part of herding and herding is an important part of Mongolian Culture.
