Objective: SWBAT discern between the different types of specific crimes against people Murder • Murder is the unlawful killing of another human being with malice aforethought. • First Degree Murder-Must involve premeditation (death penalty) • Second Degree Murder-This charge is similar to first degree, but does not involve death penalty

  5. Objective: SWBAT discern between voluntary and involuntary manslaughter • Manslaughter Manslaughter is the unlawful killing of another human being without malice aforethought.

  15. Objective: SWBAT discern between the different types of specific crimes that may be committed against property • Crimes Against Property Common crimes against property include burglary, larceny, embezzlement, robbery, arson, vandalism and shoplifting.

  16. Objective: SWBAT discern between the crimes of burglary and robbery • Burglary Burglary is the breaking and entering of homes and other places with the intent to commit a misdemeanor or a felony.
