  5. WHAT SHOULD BE INCLUDED IN A PODCAST? • Welcoming theme song/sound effects • Introductions and podcast title • Purpose of podcast • Pre-planned content • Closing remarks • Repeat theme song/sound effects EXAMPLE

  6. NOW IT’S YOUR TURN! • Create a book talk podcast • Choose an award winning book you have read this trimester • Center your podcast around hooking your listeners • Provide information about the book without giving away the JUICY details BOOK TALK

  7. HOW TO GET STARTED. . . Choose your book and get ideas by listening to other book talk podcasts step 1

  8. Write a script that introduces you and your topic to the listeners step 2

  9. step 3 Practice recording your voice using Audacity or GarageBand

  10. Finalize your podcast by adding royalty free music and sound effects step 4
