  2. Born and raised in Acworth • Married 18 years • Two daughters…Molly a senior, Darby in 8th • Die Hard Disney fan! • Graduate of Kennesaw State • 10th year teacher, 8th at Frey • Experience in 2nd and 3rd grade

  3. * The 1st bell rings at 7:15 & the 2nd bell rings at 7:50. * Tardy passes are given to students arriving after 7:50. * Students will work on daily language and math word problems each morning. * Morning Announcements begin at 7:50. * Morning Work will be checked at 8:10. * Please limit tardies whenever possible * Chicken biscuits are sold on Wednesdays for $2.50… please send in an extra small breakfast in the event they sell out (poptart, granola bar, etc)

  4. Class rewards earned • Individual behavior based on four character traits… • Respect • Responsibility • Problem Solving • Effort

  5. * Students are graded according to the 3,2,1 standards based system. Please note that at any time, you may refer to the 2nd grade standards handout, as well as the rubric located on he back of the report card.

  6. 12:18-12:48 Table 9 • Students $2.15…Guest $3.25 • Extras with signed approval form • No fast food in the lunchroom • Individual birthday treats may be passed out at lunch

  7. Daily from 11:00-11:20 • Please send in jacket once weather gets colder • Donated outdoor equipment is appreciated.

  8. Homework will come home in the form of a weekly packet on Fridays, and will be due the following Friday. Spelling tests will be given on Fridays. • Addition and subtraction math facts should also be studied weekly.

  9. * My main method of communication will be through our class blog, www.freyelementary.typepad.com/mrs_pinkard * If you have not given me your e-mail, and would like to know of class postings, please let me know ASAP. If you do not have computer access, let me know this as well so that I can make sure your child receives a hard copy of any class postings. * Our P.I..R.A.T.E. binder is our other method of communication.   14. * We will Stack and Pack from 1:50-2:00. * Students will perform their afternoon duties. * Afternoon announcements begin at 2:05. * Daycare, buses, and ASP will be dismissed at 2:10. * Car riders will be dismissed at 2:20. * Please call or fax any changes in afternoon transportation to the office prior to 1:30. • PLEASE DO NOT SEND TRANSPORTATION CHANGES THROUGH EMAIL.
