  16. NIMS, HYDERABAD • NIMS to establish substation and take action on supply of electricity to 11 KV substation already constructed by HSCC. Land issue of NIMS with State Electricity board to be resolved. • Areas like Operation theatres, Diagnostic facilities etc. where major medical equipment are to be installed can be finished after installation of medical equipment. Institute to take action on procurement of medical equipment . • Effluent treatment plant work also to be taken up • Action on municipal water supply connection. • GOI balance fund expected is about Rs. 7 cr. after construction component of Rs. 83 crore. This may be utilized in procurement of office furniture & furnishing. Work of medical equipment and gases manifold may be taken by institute. • In a initial planning conventional operation theatres were envisaged. NIMS desired to have 2 to 3 modular OT which may kindly be identified so as to finish balance OT’s.

  20. Status of the Project- SGPGIMS, Lucknow Physical progress -85% Expected Completion - March’10

Issues • Intervention with Govt. of UP for release of fund of Rs. 3.51 crore for neonatal ward without which the building can not be functional • Neonatal Ward is the Integral part of Building Without completion of Extension work, Facility of Maternity Unit, Pediatric Unit and part OT will remain not fully functional. • SGPGI to take up road work in front of building. • Faculty and Manpower to be recruited

IssuesOther Equipment and services- Lucknow • Tender documents for CSSD, Kitchen & pendent have been prepared and submitted to institute on 31.12.09. • Draft agreement submitted to institute in line of IFD circular on which SGPGI has reservations. • Institute has to form committee as per there guidelines. • Institute wants complete procurement with tendering, delivery and installation in 3 months which is not practical. • Institute had initially agreed consultancy fee of 7% which now they want to reduce to 2%. Consultancy fee for medical equipment may be 2% but for services etc. it should be 7%. • If require institute may take up this work directly as for other component.
