LQG 2013 Holiday PartyMonday, 12/16/13 Holiday Party Agenda Challenge Block Guidelines 12” finished Must use some (or all if you choose) of the two challenge fabrics in your packet Use your favorite quilting technique(s) – go crazy here! Everyone (whether you made a block or not) will get to vote on their favorite block and the winner will receive their choice of 12 blocks Remaining challenge blocks will go to the 2014 Auction OPTIONAL: Use the remaining challenge fabric (and maybe some from your stash) to make one or more 6” finished paper-pieced star(s). Pattern, drafted by Kris Bryson, is included in your packet. These little lovelies will be donated to the 2014 Auction and could all be yours! 6:00 PM Arrive, sign in, display your challenge block, mingle, and find a seat with your friends 6:30 PM Short Business Meeting, including induction of 2014 Officers 7:00 PM Dinner and Dessert served Dinner: Red River BBQ: $8 in advance, $15 at the door. (If you don’t plan ahead, I cannot guarantee that you will get food (or a goody bag). So, please let Holly Cagle know in advance (NO LATER THAN 12/11) Dessert: Brownie Sundae Bar 7:45 PM LET THE GAMES BEGIN! 9:00 PM Goodnight, Happy Holidays, and see you in 2014! • Games (Optional) and Such: • Bring a wrapped, quilt-related gift for exchange. Think about what you would LOVE to receive. • Bring one or more FQs for a chance • to win them ALL! • A few surprises – limber up before the party! • Singing and dancing are allowed.
